Matteo is a successful young entrepreneur, audacious, charming and energetic. His brother Ettore still lives in the small provincial town where they grew up and teaches in a middle school. He is a cautious, honest man who has always held back a little, sticking to the shadows, for fear of making a mistake. Seen from outside their lives seem to be very different. But life forces them back together and a difficult situation results in them getting to know and discover each other, in a vortex of fragility and euphoria.

Early on in her career, Italian-born Valeria Golino was awarded the Prize of Best Actress for her role in Francesco Maselli’s A Tale of Love at the Venice Film Festival in 1986. Her career became international and she notably appeared in Barry Levinson’s Rain Man, Jim Abrahams’ Hot Shots! and Hot Shots! 2 etc. In 2013, she directed her first film, Miele, screened at the Festival de Cannes in the Un Certain Regard selection, and received the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury. She recently appeared in Giuseppe M. Gaudino’s Per amor vostro, which won her the Best Actress Award at the Venice Film Festival.
