Three stories about fathers and sons are set in three different timelines: at the end of WWII, during the fall of the Berlin Wall and and after the breakdown of Yugoslavia. In each of these stories, a fathers and his son find themselves in characteristic, borderline situations, in which they begin to question their own existence. The decisions that they are forced to make will change their lives forever.

Andro Martinović studied film and TV direction at the Dunav Film School. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, department of literature and literature theory, in 2006. In addition to directing, he also wrote original scripts for his films Povratak, Duellum and Bližnji and adapted literary works into scripts for his films Netaknuti suncem i Maske. He is also involved in pedagogy. Neverending Past is his feature film debut.
