A cocky teenage girl, Aya, breaks up with her boyfriend for the umpteenth time. A little while later, while hanging out with her friends, she gets bullied and stabbed by a gang of local kids. The film depicts the rest of Aya’s day as she struggles between taking revenge and making up with her boyfriend.

Kosta Đorđević was born in 1981 in Belgrade. He graduated film and TV directing in 2007 from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. His short film Street Walker (2006) was screened at Locarno Film Festival competition programme Leopards of Tomorrow.
In 2013 he finished his debut feature film Trolling. The film had its European premiere at the Warshaw Film Festival (Free spirit competition category). It is one of three films that presented Nikola Rakočević in the European Shooting Stars selection in Berlinale, 2014.
Kosta Đorđević filmed two documentaries for VICE - Glasovi ludila and Vukovci. He directed fourth episode of the popular TV series Black Sun. He is the founder of the production company Kinematografska kuća in Belgrade.
Cutting Close is his second feature.
