The Jury composed of Laura Briand, Satu Elo and Alexia Muiños Ruiz decided to present the Best Pitch Award in the international competition Women in Film to Aurora's Sunrise by Inna Sahakyan and the production company Bars Media Documentary Film Studio. The prize was handed over by the president of the Jury, Alexia Muiños Ruiz, praising ‘the way the director deals with the most painful of all subjects - genocide’. She said it was a film with a powerful poetic vision and rich and vivid film language. ‘This is a film about the Armenian genocide, and I hope that the day will come when the world will become such a place where the directors will no longer deal with such painful subjects," Sahakyan said.
Six projects were presented in the FEST FORWARD National Selection. The prize was awarded by the Jury composed of Ahmet Boyacioglu, Roshanak Behesht Nedjad and Dana Budisavljević, and it was handed over by the president of the Jury Boyacioglu. He said the Jury decided to award the project Christina by Nikola Spasić and Rezon Production. He thanked the Festival and said that it represented the face of a country and a city and should be therefore maintained.
The Best Pitch Award in the national competition was given to the project Celts by Milica Tomović and production company EED Productions. The Jury wanted to support the story of a dysfunctional family told from a woman's perspective.
After the Award Ceremony, the film Pod tuđom kožom was screened.
