On the occasion of the return of the 47th International Film Festival FEST to its cradle - the former Trade Union Hall - today’s Kombank Hall, Valentine's Day (February 14th) will be marked by the films shown at the first FEST back in 1971, at this very place.
At Kombank Hall, film fans will have the opportunity to watch three films that marked the 1971 FEST when the audience was looking for an extra ticket on the 9th of June, one freezing evening. These titles have long been considered cult films and an inevitable part of the history of film, and the Belgrade audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the digitally remastered versions.
The film Easy Rider by Dennis Hopper will be screened at 5 p.m, Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey at 7:30 p.m. and Michael Wadleigh’s documentary Woodstock at 10 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the box office of the Kombank Hall for 180 RSD for each screening.
