FYZAL BOULIFA
Fyzal Boulifa is a writer-director based between Paris, London, and Tangier. He learned cinema by watching and shooting as many films as he could. His short films The Curse (2012) and Rate Me (2015) won awards in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Festival de Cannes and The Curse (2012) been nominated for BAFTAs. He directed his first feature-length film, Lynn+Lucy (2019), for which he was nominated for a Debut Director Award at the British Independent Film Awards. The film had its premiere in the San Sebastián International Film Festival and won awards from festivals in Macao, Marrakech, Les Arcs, and Vilnius.
